The Signs You Should Be Taking Collagen

As you age, you may start to notice some changes in your appearance, even if you’re still in your twenties. Environmental and lifestyle factors, such as partying, late nights, drinking, smoking, and unprotected sun exposure, can exacerbate the signs of ageing and cause them to show up earlier than they would otherwise.

Decreased collagen production, leads to a whole range of signs that our skin is losing its youthful glow. The main places to look are around the eyes and mouth, where the delicate skin is particularly susceptible to signs of ageing. You may notice fine lines and creases beginning to form around the eyes, and around the mouth, you may see lines from the edge of your nose to the corners of your mouth starting to deepen. Your jawline might also start to subtly lose definition or sag. Plus, you might notice skin isn’t as soft and dewy as it used to be, or that bruises happen more easily. So if you’re noticing any of these signs, it’s a good indication that your collagen production is on the decline.
